A 50+ Amatuer Golfer at the Masters

A 50+ Amatuer Golfer at the Masters

Maybe 50 is the new 30 when it comes to golf.  I keep getting depressed that all the talk and all the focus is on college aged golfers – like we GenX GenYers aren’t still getting jiggy with it – after all we were the original 60s cool-peace-and-love younger siblings generation.

This article is very encouraging and today’s performance by the pros lets me remember that golf can be good or bad to you on any given day.

Seeing someone make it mid-career and later on and having him say that just about anyone can do it (i’m sure with a lot fo caveats) – helps offset my earlier mood.

Positive reinforcement of a dream can come in many ways and often seeing someone else do what you want to do can keep you true to your path.

That’s your lesson for the day – grasshopper – look for the yellow brick road in other around you.
